Gujarat, India is a state located in the westernmost part of India, bordering Pakistan (with a trade environment equivalent to Guangdong, China), and has been known for its commercial development since ancient times. Borbandar in Gujarat is the birthplace of former Congress Party leader Mahatma Gandhi, and the current Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from October 2001 to 2014. He served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for three consecutive terms, and under his leadership, Gujarat achieved the highest economic growth rate among all states, earning him the title of "Guangdong of India". His achievements in infrastructure construction and attracting foreign investment in factory construction are particularly outstanding.
India is one of the largest developing countries in the world, with an annual economic growth rate of over 8% since 2003. Even during financial crises, it has performed well, with GDP growth of 6.7% in 2008, 7.4% in 2009, and an economic growth rate of over 8% in 2010. India's economic growth rate is second only to China in Asia, and its rapid development has attracted high attention from countries around the world. Currently, it has become one of the BRICS emerging markets alongside China, Russia, and Brazil. However, India as a whole still lacks long-term plans for water demand management, sewage collection and utilization, and resource protection. With the rapid development of the economy, India's domestic water treatment market is constantly expanding, and the future market potential is enormous. According to industry insiders, India's water market size is estimated to be over 4 billion US dollars, with water supply, municipal water treatment, and industrial water treatment each accounting for about one-third of the market, with an average annual growth rate between 15-20%. With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization in India, the potential of India's water market will become even greater.
